DriveSight uses a versioned REST API backed by a NestJS application, PostgreSQL and background workers. The API covers identity, school operations, lesson evidence, mileage, analytics, reports and audit records.

Authentication and school scope
Authenticated sessions determine the school workspace on the server. Clients do not choose an arbitrary tenant ID. Roles and permissions control access to operations, with rotating refresh sessions and rate limits.
